“Po doświadczenie zawodowe do Europy”

Between 31st May 2021 and 11th July 2021 58 students from Zespół Szkół named after Stanisław Staszic  learning in three possessions: information technologist, car technician, hospitality technician took part in the apprenticeships in Greece. The apprenticeships was held within the project Erasmus + entitled  “Po doświadczenie zawodowe do Europy” The project was financed from the sources of Operational Program Knowledge Education and Development (POWER) 2014- 2020, and from European  Social Fund  within another project : International  Educational Mobility for Students, Graduates and Vocational Teachers”.

11 hospitality students, 20 car technician students and 27 information technology students after going through the process of recruitment, English language, cultural and interpersonal preparation and thanks to cooperation with KARATZIOS-FERFELIS-ANTONIOS-KARATZIOU-FERFELI KYRIKI O.E. CENTER FOR VOCATIONAL TRAINING gained first vocational practice in Greek companies. The participants accomplished provided apprenticeship program.

 

During the two weeks’ stay in luxurious  hotel San Panteleimon in Mount Olimp our students could not only gain some vocational skills but also accomplish very rich optional program. We are really grateful to our Greek partner for professional preparation of our training and the whole stay in Greece. Thanks to many trips students took part in, they could get to know culture and customs of different country citizens. They could also see many monuments , Greek traditions  as well as the basics of Greek language. The participation in the project helped students develop vocational skills  and improve language skills in terms of business language vocabulary. For sure the internship influenced their independence and openness, which are helpful in their future job.

The main aims of accomplished project were:

-preparing  to the further career path in the country and abroad, implementation of their European educational path

-supporting students  and graduates and vocational teachers moblility

-increasing competitiveness of graduates for local, national and European labour market, thanks to which they can communicate in foreign language in everyday life situations

-increasing quality and innovation of vocational education, gaining practical work experience and perfecting language skills

 

 

All in all the project increased attractiveness of our students on the national and European labour market. Additionally the contribution  in the project makes students gain working experience in Europe.
